Pricewise Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Logyte Systems LLP ("Logyte", "we"), Silver Arcade, 5, J.B.S. Haldane Avenue, Kolkata 700105, India, for using Pricewise: the apps and the web app at pricewise.logyte.com. By using Pricewise you accept them. If you use it for a business, you accept them for that business too.

1. What Pricewise is

Pricewise helps you work out costs, margins and prices, and make quotes. Everything that works on your device is free, without limits and without an account. Pricewise Pro adds what needs our servers, and tools for growing businesses:

• Cloud backup and sync across your devices.
• Sharing a business with your team. An owner's Pro covers their business for up to 6 people, owners and pending invitations included; the others don't pay.
• Branded PDF quotes, with your logo, colour and terms.
• Excel, CSV and PDF reports, and importing supplier price lists.
• Setting every below-target price to its recommended price in one step, and cost trend charts.

We may add features to Pro. We won't take away a Pro feature you've paid for during the period you've paid for.

2. Your account

You need an account to use Pro and to share or sync a business. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you're responsible for what's done with your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Team → Account → Delete account).

3. Prices, trial and payment

• Prices: Pricewise Pro costs US$3.99 a month or US$19.99 a year. Your checkout shows the final amount in your currency, with any sales tax or VAT.
• Free trial: each person can try Pro free for 14 days, once. A trial needs no payment details and doesn't turn into a paid subscription on its own.
• Our reseller: our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
• App stores: if you buy Pro in an app store, that store sells it to you and its terms apply to the purchase.

4. Renewal and cancelling

A subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and you're charged the price then in effect, until you cancel. Cancel any time: in Pricewise, go to Settings → Pricewise Pro → Manage subscription, or write to us. Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for, and isn't charged again. Deleting your account cancels a subscription bought through Paddle straight away.

If we change the price, we'll tell you at least 30 days before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it applies.

6. When Pro ends

If your subscription or trial ends, nothing you made is deleted or locked: your data stays on your device and everything free keeps working. Syncing and sharing stop, and changes wait on your device until you have Pro again. Members of a business that was covered by its owner's Pro stop syncing it too.

7. Your data

Your business data is yours. We use it only to provide Pricewise, as our privacy policy describes. You can export reports and delete your data and account at any time.

8. Fair use

Don't use Pricewise to break the law, to send unwanted invitations, or to try to reach other people's data or disrupt our servers. We may suspend an account that does, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

9. Our responsibility

Pricewise does arithmetic on the figures you give it. Check important prices and quotes before you rely on them: the decisions you make with it are yours. We work to keep the service running and your data safe, but we provide Pricewise "as is", without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for Pro in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law doesn't let us limit.

10. Changes to these terms

We'll update this page when the terms change, and change the date at the top. For significant changes we'll tell signed-in users in the app before they apply.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Kolkata have jurisdiction, without taking away the protection of the laws of the country you live in, where those apply to you.
